HOW
DO I...
MAKE
AN APPOINTMENT ?
Routine Appointments
Please telephone or call in to the surgery during opening hours. Every effort
is made to see patients when they wish to be seen and we try to be as flexible
as possible. If you feel you may need a longer appointment please discuss this
with the receptionist at the time of booking. If you are unable to keep your appointment
please let the surgery know so that the appointment can be offered to someone
in need.
Usually children under the age of 14 should be accompanied by an adult.
Urgent Problems
For urgent medical problems you can book an appointment the same day by telephoning
the surgery after 8.30am. These appointments are intended for problems which have
to be seen the same day and might be with any doctor or nurse. Sometimes the doctor
may telephone you and the need for an appointment may be eliminated.
HOW
DO I...
OBTAIN
A HOME VISIT ?
If you are to ill to come to the surgery, you can ask for a home visit. Please
telephone before 10.00am where possible and give the receptionist your name, address,
telephone number and a a brief description of the problem.
We are unable to guarantee that a particular doctor will visit since the workload
of home visits is divided equally between the doctors.
HOW
DO I...
OBTAIN
TEST RESULTS?
It would help us if you would telephone the surgery between 11.00am and 3.00pm
to obtain your test results. All results are seen by the doctor who then indicates
if they are normal or defines the appropriate action.
